Mt. Tabor's Table
Weekly Food Ministry
Mt. Tabor’s table is a food ministry associated with the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank (ACRF). It is supported financially by church members who feel led to donate to the ministry. We distribute fresh, canned and frozen food items to clients in need of food support that are registered and meet the criteria of the ACRF. We are open from Noon to 1 PM every Sunday after church in the Fellowship Hall in the basement and serve 300-400 people a month.
Blessings Box
Food Donations
Our Community Blessing Box is an outdoor “Take What You Need, Leave What You Can” cupboard for use by anyone needing food. It is accessible 24/7 and is now being stocked completely by donations from our community. While our weekly table ministry provides substantial food stocks designed to supply our guests with a week’s worth of food, the Blessing Box is designed to help in an unexpected emergency.
Prayer Shawl
Our talented knitters, crocheters, and quilters create lovely fiber gifts to bless hospice patients, those expecting babies, recent graduates, and those suffering from a variety of illnesses. Fiber artists of all ability levels are welcome to join this special ministry.

Women in God's Service
We are women with a purpose called by God to assist and advocate for others especially in the local and world communities of women, children, and youth.
Our purpose is to connect and nurture through the Christian Community of: Faith; Leadership; Spiritual Education/Growth; and Fellowship. We Inspire, Impact and Influence through compassionate service and advocating for others in need.
We financially support many E.C. community/school projects as well as non-profit organizations in Stark County and world missions.
