The leadership of Mt. Tabor is a dedicated group of people that LOVE Jesus and care about people. Our leadership is built on three things.
1. "Success breeds complacency and complacency breeds failure." Andy Groves. We don't mind taking risk and failure does not scare us. Our faith, our desire, and our dreams are ever moving and so there is no room for complacency.
2. "leaders must challenge the process: precisely because any system will unconsciously conspire to maintain the status quo and prevent change." (Andy Stanley) As a leadership we want to evaluate and analysis the various programs we have at Mt. Tabor. When we settle for the status quo we become complacent and then we will see no change. Change done right and at the right time can breed growth.
3. "LEAD WITH AN OPEN HAND" (Andy Stanley) When we can lead with open hands than we can lead with God in control. It is when we become closed fisted that things break down. We become possessive and change is harder to go through. With an open hand programs, events, etc.. Can become who God wants them to become, we are just the instrument.
I think you will love our leadership, I know I do. We strive to be the best leader we can, we make mistakes, and we even drop the ball. But, thank you for forgiveness and grace. Thanks for reading about our leadership I hope you enjoy getting to know them a little better as you read their bios. Love to hear from you and would LOVE to see you at worship. God bless.
